We are located at Lake Tahoe, California, with 300 days of sunshine each year. All students participate in outdoor sports, including skiing, snowboarding, soccer, hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. Students ski or snowboard daily at Squaw Valley USA, home of the 1960 Olympics, with 30 ski lifts two kilometers from school. Lake Tahoe is only 8km. Soccer students also enjoy an international-sized field behind campus and our two years of League Champions. Reno Airport is 70km.

Squaw Valley Academy is an international college-preparatory boarding school with 100+ coed students at Lake Tahoe, California. International students have full English immersion, attend all classes with American students, and share an en-suite bedroom with 1 or 2 American students. 100% of SVA graduates are accepted to US colleges and universities. SVA is fully accredited, and our main courses are approved by University of California, Berkeley. We also offer summer school for 3 or 6 weeks.
